The variety is a vine-like shrub capable of reaching a height of 4 to 10 meters. The plant can be used for decorating walls, gazebos, or as a groundcover crop.

The primary decorative feature is bright green leaves with an irregular yellow-cream or yellow-green margin. Flowering occurs in the second half of summer with flat corymbose inflorescences of white or cream color.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -25...-29°C (USDA zone 5a), and is considered low-maintenance.
