The plant is characterized by compact size: in open field it reaches 60–80 cm, in containers the height varies from 20 to 50 cm. Inflorescences are large, dense, spherical in shape. Leaves are dark green, glossy, with serrated edges.

Flower color depends on soil pH: in an acidic environment they are blue or purple, in neutral and slightly alkaline ones — pink or raspberry-red. Buds may have a greenish tint when opening.

The flowering period lasts from June to October. The variety has strong stems, is resistant to diseases and has a USDA 5 winter hardiness zone, although in Russian climatic conditions covering for the winter is recommended to preserve flower buds.
