The variety forms large globular inflorescences with a diameter of 15–20 cm, consisting of single flowers with a diameter of 3,5–4 cm. The color of the flowers varies from pink to dark blue depending on the soil acidity, and often acquires green tones during the maturation process.

The plant is a shrub about 1,2 m high with dark green leaves 10–15 cm in size. The variety has strong stems, blooms in summer, and can be grown both in the sun, provided there is moisture, and in partial shade.
