Variety description

The shrub has a compact rounded shape with strong vertical stems, reaching a height and width of 1.0–1.5 m in open field and about 0.5 m in containers. Leaves are large, dark green, ovate with a serrated edge.

Flowers are collected in large spherical inflorescences 10–25 cm in diameter. The flowering period lasts from June to September on the previous year's shoots. The color of the inflorescences varies from bright pink to lilac and violet-blue depending on soil acidity.

The plant belongs to heat-loving varieties (hardiness zones 6–7) and requires cover in cold climates. The variety has strong stems and is resistant to pests. It prefers locations protected from direct sunlight, requires regular watering, and does not tolerate the presence of lime in the soil.
