Variety description

Inflorescences are flat, saucer-shaped, consisting of small fertile flowers in the center and a ring of large sterile flowers around the edges. Flower color is bright red; on acidic soils, it can acquire lilac or lavender shades. Leaves are large, egg-shaped, dark green with a serrated edge.

The shrub is upright and branched. In open field it reaches 0.9–1.2 m, in containers — 50–70 cm. Flowering is prolonged, from June to September. The variety is moisture-loving, winter hardiness is up to -17°C, in cold climates it requires covering or cultivation in containers.
