Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 1.5 m; in the middle latitudes, it usually grows to 0.6–1.2 m. The leaves have a serrated, ovate shape and a dark green color, which changes to wine-red in autumn. Large inflorescences with a diameter of 15–22 cm have an umbellate shape.

Flowering lasts from late June to August–October. The plant requires fertile, drained soils and needs protection for the winter due to insufficient winter hardiness. The variety is suitable for solitary and group plantings, as well as for cultivation in containers.
