The plant belongs to the species Hydrangea serrata. The shrub is small in size and is characterized by inflorescences of light texture, consisting of sterile flowers, each of which has 4 or 5 sepals.

The color of the inflorescences of this variety can vary and manifest in pink or blue tones. The variety is predominantly found in specialized nurseries dealing with Japanese varieties of hydrangea.
