The variety was bred by selection and cultivation of a wild walnut specimen with a red kernel. The tree reaches a height of up to 6 meters and belongs to varieties with a medium maturity group.

The main distinctive feature of the fruits is the bright red color of the kernel, while the shell does not differ externally from ordinary walnuts. The variety possesses increased resistance to diseases, pests, drought, and sharp temperature fluctuations.

The yield of the variety reaches 60 kg per tree. Due to specific visual and taste qualities, the walnut is used primarily in the confectionery industry and cooking.
