The Seifersdorfer Runde variety is a vigorous tree with a spreading crown, reaching a height of 8–10, sometimes 15 meters. The fruits are predominantly round in shape.

The variety is self-fertile and possesses high winter hardiness, which allows it to ripen well in mountainous or cold climatic conditions. Due to the very early flowering period, the tree is subject to the risk of damage from late spring frosts.

The fruits of this variety are distinguished by a pleasant taste. The tree is used both in fruit gardening and as an ornamental plant for landscaping parks and gardens.
