The variety is a Batavia-type leaf lettuce with an open head structure and a dark green leaf rosette. It is characterized by a short vegetation cycle, high vigor under short daylight conditions, and compact head length.

The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae, races Bl:1–25, 26, 28) and to internal tipburn.

The variety is intended for cultivation in protected soil, primarily in winter and autumn cycles. The produce is suitable for sale in the fresh vegetable market.
