The variety forms a large rosette 30–40 cm in diameter and approximately 25 cm in height. Young leaves are pale green with brown spots; mature leaves are large, rounded, and slightly wavy. The head is spherical, dense, medium or small in size, often with a reddish-brown tint at the top. Seeds are black.
The plant is productive, characterized as hardy, suitable for cultivation in greenhouses, open field, and overwintering in mild conditions. The leaves have a tender buttery texture. The maturation period is 45–70 days.
