The variety belongs to the butterhead lettuce group. The plant forms a dense, round or slightly elongated head with a diameter of about 30 cm. Outer leaves have a dark green color with a bronze or brownish-red bloom; the inner part of the head is whitish.
The taste of the leaves is neutral, and the texture is tender and buttery. The variety is intended for summer and autumn cultivation and is distinguished by its ability to retain its formed head shape for a long time. When grown in late summer, it may show susceptibility to powdery mildew.
