The plant forms a rather large mass of narrow, elongated, and pointed leaves, without forming a tight head. The leaves have a crunchy texture and the mild bitter aftertaste characteristic of Romaine. The variety is intended for gradual harvesting of leaves as they grow.
The variety is suitable for cultivation in summer and autumn periods; harvesting is possible two months after sowing or earlier when using young leaves. The crop features good cold resistance, but is sensitive to intense prolonged heat. It prefers fertile soils and develops well in full sun or partial shade.
