The hybrid possesses strong vigor and is used as a rootstock for watermelon cultivation. Its application contributes to a reduction in the content of "white fibers" in the flesh of the scion fruit, which enhances their commercial quality.
The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis, and intermediate resistance (IR) to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lagenariae.
