The plant is a compact, rounded shrub with mid-green foliage without a greyish hue. The cylindrical inflorescences are distinguished by purple flowers and the presence of large, deep purple sterile bracts at the apex. The plant height is about 50 cm with a width of up to 45 cm.

The variety belongs to the early-flowering group with a long period of inflorescence decorativeness. The crop is characterized by resistance to drought and heat, however, it possesses low winter hardiness and is recommended for zones 7–10. The primary purpose is landscaping and cultivation in containers on terraces and balconies.
