Variety description

The plant has an upright bush form with good branching. Bush height is 33–38 cm, width varies from 25 to 30 cm.

Flowering is early, occurring in the period from spring to summer. Inflorescences are large, with characteristic dark-purple sterile bracts, known as flags.

The variety is a non-winter-hardy perennial corresponding to USDA hardiness zone 7a (down to -6.7°C). The crop is photophilous, best suited for cultivation in pots and containers.
