The fiber flax variety Oberih is cultivated for the production of flax fiber and seeds. The duration of the growing period varies from 91 to 97 days depending on weather conditions and the mineral nutrition system.

In the conditions of the Western Forest-Steppe, the variety demonstrates a flax straw productivity of up to 4.37 t/ha when mineral fertilizers are applied. Seed yield depends on growing conditions.
