The variety belongs to winter oilseed forms of flax and is primarily grown for oil production. In agronomic studies, the variety is mentioned in the context of tests on the efficiency of pressing equipment during seed extraction.

The plant possesses good resistance to Fusarium wilt. Quality indicators of the produce demonstrate an alpha-linolenic acid content in the seeds in the range of 46.1% to 50.5%.
