The variety belongs to the oilseed flax group. The plant is characterized as relatively late-maturing, with a period from emergence to the beginning of flowering of about 44.7 days. The flower corolla is red-violet.
The variety possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt. The seeds show a stearic acid content in the range of 2.9–4.2%, as well as a level of α-linolenic acid characteristic of oilseed forms.
