The variety is tetraploid and belongs to the early or mid-early group. The plant is distinguished by intensive growth rates in spring and after each cut. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, is resistant to lodging and is capable of persisting in one place for two years.

The produce of the variety is characterized by a high concentration of sugars, good digestibility and nutritional value, which makes it suitable for silage preparation. The yield of the variety increases with the application of nitrogen fertilizers. The variety is intended for hayfields, use as a component of forage mixtures and as a winter catch crop.
