The variety is tetraploid. On an assessment scale (1–9), it is characterized by average indicators of maturity and lodging resistance (5); biomass formation at the beginning of the growing season is rated as above average (6). Resistance to rust is 5, to bacterial wilt, Fusarium, and powdery mildew — 4. Winter hardiness is rated as good with a moderate tendency to winterkill.

Total dry matter yield corresponds to an indicator of 6, with the productivity of subsequent cuts rated with a high score of 7. The variety is distinguished by a high sugar content and good palatability. It is intended for harvesting green mass, silage, and hay.

The recommended seeding rate is 40–45 kg/ha in pure stands and 20–25 kg/ha when overseeding. Sowing dates include the autumn period to obtain a harvest in the following year or early summer sowing for use in the autumn and the following main year.
