The variety is tetraploid and is distinguished by high dry matter yield. The average flowering date falls on May 18. The rust resistance index is 6.9.

The plant is used as a forage crop for grazing and mowing. Due to early growth after winter, the variety is effective for obtaining spring cuts. It is also used as an intermediate crop to prevent soil erosion and nitrogen leaching.
