Variety description
10 August 2026
The variety is tetraploid, which provides the plant with larger cells, high leafiness, and nutritional value. The ryegrass is intended for agricultural use for establishing pastures and hayfields, rather than for ornamental landscaping.
During agronomic trials, the variety demonstrated high dry matter yield rates and good digestibility. Resistance of the plant to crown rust and stem rust, as well as to snow mold, was noted. There is data on the variety's ability to accumulate heavy metals, in particular cadmium, which allows it to be considered in the context of soil phytoremediation.
