The variety is diploid (2x) and belongs to the early-heading group. During selection, the main emphasis was placed on increasing the share of water-soluble carbohydrates in the green mass, which ensures high energy value of the feed and contributes to intensive live weight gain of animals.
The plant possesses good productivity in the spring period until the beginning of June, however, it is characterized by lower longevity compared to late-maturing varieties. In scientific research, the variety is often used as a susceptible control when assessing resistance to crown rust.
The variety is intended for use in forage production, predominantly for livestock grazing, where the key requirement is high quality of plant mass at the beginning of the season.
