It is characterized as late-flowering, with a heading period 13–26 days later than standard varieties. The plant possesses high dry matterproductivity, combining the winter growth of Italian ryegrass with high summer and autumn productivity.
The plant possesses good resistance to rust and is often supplied with an endophyte for insect protection. The produce is distinguished by high energy value and palatability for animals. The variety is intended for pasture establishment and forage harvesting, is suitable for overseeding in thin stands, and the lifespan in a sward is 2–4 years.
