The Solid (Solid 4n) variety is a tetraploid hybrid obtained by crossing perennial ryegrass and Italian ryegrass. The plant is characterized by rapid establishment and intensive development, providing a high yield at the first cut.

The variety possesses resistance to rust, powdery mildew, rhynchosporium, and ryegrass mosaic virus, and also exhibits tolerance to salinity. The sward is characterized by good ground cover density.

The variety's produce is characterized by high digestibility, making it suitable for both mowing and grazing. The use of this ryegrass is aimed at the production of silage, haylage, and hay.
