Tetratop is a tetraploid hybrid ryegrass variety, characterized by high growth during the vegetation period and the formation of a dense sod. The growth habit of the plant varies from semi-erect to intermediate.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness and high resistance to snow mold. The characteristics of tiller development after mowing allow the variety to maintain forage quality throughout the season due to reduced secondary heading.

The plant is intended for haylage and silage harvesting, as well as for use in high-productivity pasture grass mixtures.
