Variety description

The variety is a compact prostrate shrub 50–70 cm tall and up to 80–100 cm wide. The plant is semi-evergreen, possessing a characteristic dark purple or bronze foliage color that persists throughout the season.

The flowers are white and strap-shaped. The main flowering occurs in early spring, with a possible second flush in late summer or early autumn. The plant prefers sunny locations or partial shade, and well-drained acidic or neutral soils.

The variety shows good heat and drought tolerance. Winter hardiness is limited, withstanding temperature drops down to -10 °C; in cold regions, it requires protection. It does not require mandatory pruning, although light trimming after flowering contributes to the formation of a denser crown.
