The variety is a deciduous tree or large shrub 3–4 meters in height with a crown width of 1–2 meters. The crown shape is vertical, often columnar or pyramidal. Foliage is dark green, glossy.
Flowers 12–15 cm in size have a cup shape. Flowering occurs in late winter or spring before leaves emerge; repeat flowering is possible in summer. The plant begins to bloom at an early age.
The variety withstands temperature drops down to -22°C...-25°C. It possesses high resistance to root rot, however, resistance to powdery mildew and leaf spot is low. The flowers possess resistance to wind.
