Variety description

The plant has a narrow, almost columnar crown shape and reaches 2–4 meters in height with a width of 1–2 meters. The leaves are ovate or obovate in shape and medium-green in color, sometimes with a purple tint during budding.

The flowers of the variety are large, 15–20 cm in diameter. Upon opening, the petals acquire a dense texture resembling a lotus. Flowering occurs in late April – May, which allows the plant to avoid late spring frosts.

The variety prefers sunny or partially shaded areas with fertile, moist, and well-drained acidic soil. Due to its compact habit, the plant is recommended for use in the landscape design of small gardens.
