A tree with a compact crown, which in young age has a pyramidal shape, and with development becomes broadly oval or rounded. The height of an adult plant is from 3 to 6 meters. Leaves are large, oval-shaped, bright green in color.

Flowers are very large, reaching 30–36 cm in diameter, possessing a sweet aroma. Their coloring varies from saturated pink and bright crimson to a deep burgundy-purple tone. Flowering occurs in early spring, before the appearance of leaves or at the beginning of their budding, and is very abundant.

The variety possesses good frost resistance and disease resistance. It requires well-drained, fertile, slightly acidic soils and protection from strong winds. Due to its size, it is suitable for small gardens, landscape compositions, and container cultivation.
