The variety is an evergreen or semi-evergreen hybrid of the Michelia group. The plant forms a dense crown, reaching a height and width of about 2.5–2.7 m. The breeding is based on the crossing of M. laevifolia with M. doltsopa and M. × foggii.
The flowers are cup-shaped, colored creamy-white and possess a light fragrance. Flowering begins at an early age and repeats in spring, summer, and autumn. The shrub is fast-growing, resistant to diseases, and suitable for creating hedges or for cultivation as a solitary plant.
For normal development, it requires wind-protected areas and moisture-retentive, well-drained soils with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction. The variety is intended for regions with a mild climate, as it is not a typical deciduous species for the conditions of the central zone.
