The tree is of medium size, forming a high-globular or pyramidal crown. Growth during the period of full fruiting slows down, becoming moderate or weak. The variety is characterized by good yield, regular fruiting, and high fruit resistance to dropping in the wind.

Fruits are of medium size, often of an elongated conical shape. The flesh is firm, yellowish in color, and possesses a balanced sweet-and-sour taste with a characteristic aroma. The primary use is for fresh consumption, as well as for culinary purposes, and the production of juice and cider.

The variety is considered relatively resistant to scab, except when grown in damp lowlands, and is weakly susceptible to fire blight. Harvesting maturity of the fruits occurs in early October, and the consumption period lasts from December to March or April.
