The fruits are small and have a round or ovoid shape. At harvest, the skin is lemon-yellow in color and covered with numerous evenly distributed brown lenticels. The variety ripens in early October.

The taste of the fruits is sweet-and-sour, with a characteristic pineapple aroma. The variety shows susceptibility to European apple canker, otherwise it is characterized as not particularly sensitive to diseases and pests. On light, permeable soils, problems may arise during cultivation in drought periods.
