The "Amorosa" variety is a clone of the "Aroma" variety, obtained through the selection of branches with intense fruit coloration. The tree is vigorous, with a wide, open crown, reaching a height of 4 to 6 meters depending on the rootstock.

The fruits are medium-sized, round or flat-round in shape, with yellow-green skin and an intense red blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, fine-grained, with a sweet-sour taste. The variety is considered a winter type; the fruits are suitable for storage until spring.

The plant has good resistance to scab and powdery mildew. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for culinary processing.
