The BADAMI GOLDEN variety is a seedling from open pollination of the Golden Delicious variety. In its morphological characteristics and appearance, the tree is practically indistinguishable from the original variety.

The fruits are similar in appearance to Golden Delicious, however, they tend to have a more conical shape and a lighter ground color of the skin with the possible manifestation of a reddish blush. A characteristic feature of the fruits is the weak manifestation or absence of "russeting" in the stem cavity area, while the taste is evaluated as more acidic.

The variety belongs to the category of dessert apples. Professional literature considers it an alternative seedling that has not received wide commercial distribution due to specific differences in fruit quality compared to the classic Golden Delicious.
