The variety is a medium-sized tree with a fruiting type similar to Golden Delicious and a tendency for branches to weep. Flowering is medium-early; the variety is diploid and requires pollinators such as Granny Smith, Fuji, or Idared.

The fruits are medium-sized, conical in shape, and distinguished by the early appearance of a deep red-purple color with dark stripes. The fruit flesh is light cream, crisp, juicy, and sweet. The variety is characterized by stable productivity, is sensitive to scab and European canker, and is susceptible to powdery mildew.

The fruits ripen earlier than those of the original Royal Gala variety. Due to their ability to be stored for a long time, the produce maintains its quality until December in a standard refrigerator and until June under controlled atmosphere conditions. It is recommended to harvest in two passes to achieve optimal maturity.
