The tree has moderate vigor, is a spur-type, and is characterized by good precocity. The variety is triploid, sterile, and requires a pollinator variety to produce a crop. Susceptibility to apple canker has been noted in conditions of high humidity.

Fruits are large or very large, round-conical in shape, often asymmetrical with pronounced ribs. The color is greenish-yellow with a bright red blush and stripes. The flesh is yellowish, coarse-grained, tender and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste.

The crop is harvested in late September to early October, and the consumption period lasts from October to January. The variety is primarily culinary; when heat-treated, fruit slices turn a lemon-yellow color; upon prolonged storage, acidity decreases, which allows them to be consumed fresh.
