The tree is vigorous, with a spreading crown. Harvesting takes place from late September to early October. The variety exhibits a tendency toward biennial bearing and is susceptible to scab.

Fruits are large or medium, ribbed, with a shape resembling a bell. The skin is pale lemon-yellow, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is yellowish, tender, juicy and aromatic, with a sweet-and-sour spicy flavor.

A multi-purpose variety, the fruits have good keeping quality for 4–5 months, but are easily damaged during harvesting and prone to turning into puree during culinary processing.
