The Benet tree has medium-strong vigor, with a canopy ranging from spreading to moderately drooping. The variety is productive, but prone to alternate bearing.

Large fruits weighing 200–250 g have an elongated-round or flat-round shape. The ground color of the skin is yellow, covered by an intense dark violet-red blush, occupying about 87% of the fruit surface. The flesh is creamy, tender, firm, crisp and juicy, possessing a sweet-and-sour taste with a distinct aroma.

The variety belongs to early ripening groups. The fruits have high keeping quality, maintaining their properties for up to 9 months. The plant is characterized by medium resistance to scab and low susceptibility to powdery mildew, although in regions with frequent occurrence of apple tree canker, preventive protection is recommended.
