The small to medium-sized fruits have smooth, thin skin that becomes oily upon ripening. The ground color is orange-yellow with intense carmine stripes. The flesh is firm, fine-grained, juicy, yellowish, and has a sweet taste with a slight acidity and an aroma reminiscent of pineapple.

The variety belongs to the early summer ripening group. The plant is characterized by mid-late flowering and is self-infertile. Alternate bearing is typical; in years of high yield, fruit thinning is recommended to maintain fruit quality.
