The variety was obtained in 1908 in the Stockholm Botanical Garden. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor and a strong upright crown. The fruits are medium-sized; when overripe, the flesh acquires a mealy consistency.
The plant is characterized by hardiness and adaptation to a cold climate. To obtain a yield, pollinators are required, such as the Katja and Oranie varieties, as well as a sunny location and nutrient-rich drained soil.
