The variety is a red-fruited mutation of the original form Goldrenette Freiherr von Berlepsch. The fruits are small or medium-sized, round in shape, sometimes with ribbing. The primary skin color is yellowish-green with an intense red blush or stripes. The cream-colored flesh is characterized by a fine-grained structure, firmness, and high juiciness, possessing a distinct spicy aroma with notes of pineapple.

A winter variety with a harvest period in September-October and consumer maturity from November to March. The tree height depends on the rootstock and training method; the crown is spreading. The variety is demanding of growing conditions, sensitive to spring frosts, prone to cancer and fire blight, and may drop fruit under moisture deficit.
