The tree has moderate to vigorous growth, forming a narrow crown of a highly round or pyramidal shape. The structural branches are slender, and the fruit-bearing branches on the periphery of the crown have a tendency to droop. The variety is diploid, and flowering is medium-early.
The fruits are medium-sized, conical or barrel-shaped, sometimes slightly elongated. The skin is delicate, greenish-yellow with a reddish blush and a waxy bloom. The flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy, with a sweet taste and a pear aroma. Harvest maturity occurs in early October; the fruits keep until December.
The variety is distinguished by high resistance to major diseases: apple canker, powdery mildew, and scab. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and for making juices and mousses. The variety is recommended for cultivation in orchards, excluding areas with very dry or sandy soils.
