Variety description

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth. The variety is triploid, self-infertile, and requires pollinators. Flowering is early to medium-early, and the flowers are sensitive to frost. The variety is prone to biennial bearing in the absence of fruit thinning.

The fruits are medium to large in size (from 70 to 85 mm), with an intense uniform red color and the russeting characteristic of Boskoop. The flesh is firm, moderately juicy, with a sharp acidic taste. Harvesting takes place from late September to early October.

The variety has low susceptibility to scab and powdery mildew, but is sensitive to the development of bitter pit. Fruits can be stored in a standard refrigerator until February, and under controlled atmosphere conditions, until March.
