The tree forms a wide, semi-open, spreading crown and reaches a height of 5–7 meters. The fruits are large and slightly flattened, with a rough-textured skin that is dark red or purple-red in color.

The harvest period falls between late September and mid-October. The fruit flesh is creamy white, firm, and juicy. Due to its high acidity, the fruits are most often used in cooking, as they are resistant to boiling down. The variety is winter-hardy, resistant to diseases, and self-sterile, requiring the presence of pollinators.
