Variety description

The variety is a mutation of the Red Delicious group and possesses a compact tree growth habit. Fruits ripen approximately 124 days after flowering, which allows for harvesting in August, earlier than most other spur-type clones of the group.
Externally, the fruits are distinguished by a pronounced striped coloration upon ripening. The flesh of the fruits is white and very juicy; the flavor has a low content of titratable acids. A relatively high content of ascorbic acid has been noted in the fruit composition.
The variety is self-infertile and requires cross-pollination. In production trials, the yield of the variety was rated as not the highest compared to other spur-type forms.
