Fruits of the Casciana variety are medium-sized and have a round, slightly flattened shape. The ground color of the skin at maturity is yellow-green, complemented by a red blush that covers about 60% of the fruit surface.

The taste of the apples is sweet, with a slight acidity. The variety has high nutraceutical value, including a rich profile of polyphenols. The harvest is collected at the end of the season; the variety is suitable for fresh consumption and is of interest for organic farming.
