The variety is a local discovery found in a cemetery in the commune of Blangy-le-Château in Normandy. The tree belongs to pollination group 4 and is self-sterile.
Fruits are medium-sized, round or round-conical, with a green ground color and a red blush. The white firm flesh has a sweet taste with a slight bitterness; the juice is characterized by intense coloring.
Harvesting takes place at the end of October — early November. The variety is characterized by good natural resistance to diseases typical of the humid climate of Normandy.
