The Ditte Wiuff apple variety belongs to the traditional Danish varieties. Genetically, it is diploid and carries the S-RNase alleles S3 and S9. Its origin is linked to the Cox's Orange Pippin variety.

Currently, the variety is included in the national fruit crop collection of Denmark, Pometet. Detailed agronomic characteristics, including fruit description, maturity dates, and disease resistance, are absent in professional publications.
